Find Books from Home!

Working on a project and want to see if our Austin Library has a book to help you? Go to Libraries on the main section of WISD website and click on Austin's library. Then click on the top tab that says Catalog and search for the books you need. There are also ebooks you can read online from home on a rainy weekend! Happy reading!!

International Dot Day-September 15ish

We are celebrating International Dot Day-all week!! All classes are reading The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds and everyone is getting a chance to make their mark. Dot bookmarks, goal setting, writing about changes of character and ipad art are some of the ways Austin students are making their mark. When Austin students make their mark, Austin Elementary crosses the line to excellence! Have a great week! :)

Classes have Started

I hope you enjoyed your Labor Day Monday off from school. Library classes began last Friday, when all of the regular Monday classes visited the library to check out books. Today we resumed our regular schedule as classes come for their first time of the year. There are lots of new books to read this year, so come in and check out our newest titles and our "old" favorites from past years.

Coming up next week...International Dot Day!!
